I remember, however distantly, the awkwardness of my teens, the desire to grow up faster, and experiment with adult behaviors. So how come these scientists and psycholigists seem to have no recollection nor reflect any parenting experiences? It’s so sanitized and clinical, and life is really messy and refuses to be pigeonholed so neatly.

I have to agree, there’s another half million of my tax dollars gone to waste on something stupid that is unlikely to actually help anyone.
